GMRC floats tenders for Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project Phase-II

The Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) has floated tenders for works on Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project Phase-II in Gujarat under two packages.

Package-C1 involves construction of 8.124 km elevated viaducts and eight stations from ch 17,343.443 mtr to 25,467.443 mtr, 5.420 km elevated viaducts and three stations from Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) to GIFT City and 0.815 km elevated viaducts and additional platform at Koteshwar Road station from Motera to Mahatma Mandir and GNLU to GIFT City (excluding E&M, architectural, finishing and roofing). The work will entail an investment of Rs 1,017.56 crore with a completion period of 30 months.

Package-C2 envisages construction of 6.478 km elevated viaducts and five stations from ch 25,467.443 mtr to 31,945.443 mtr and 0.679 km elevated viaducts and ramp for depot entry from Motera Stadium to Mahatma Mandir (excluding E&M, architectural finishing and roofing). The work will be completed at a cost of Rs 470.06 crore, with a completion period of 27 months.
