The Andhra Pradesh State Minister of municipal administration and urban development Botcha Satyanarayana said yesterday (Thursday, 20th February 2020) that the detailed project report (DPR) for the Visakhapatnam metro rail project is ready and the project office would shortly start work in Vizag.
A budget of around Rs 1,000 crore has been allocated for the project, the minister said, and added that the project has been extended to Bhogapuram. The minister reviewed smart city projects, the metro rail and other projects at the Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority (VMRDA) office in Visakhapatnam yesterday.
