The Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (UPMRCL) on Wednesday and Thursday (29th & 30th April 2020) conducted pre-bid meeting for various tenders related to Kanpur and Agra Metro projects. Another meeting is also planned for the tenders of Kanpur and Agra Metro projects on Thursday.
“Since the Central and respective State Government’s orders of observing nationwide lockdown till May 3, UPMRC has been successfully conducting its day to day official work and related matters,” a statement said.
According to UPMRC, the details and specifications of the various tenders for which pre-bid meeting organised, were Supply of Standard Gauge UIC 60 Turnouts, Scissor Crossovers, Check Rails etc. for Kanpur and Agra Metro and Supply of 1620 MT Rails (UIC 60 / 60E1 IRS-T2009, 880 grade, class A) for Kanpur and Agra Metro.
Another pre-bid conducted yesterday (30th April 2020) was for supply of 17,700 MT Head Hardened Rails (60 E1, IRS-T-12-2009, 1080 grade HH) for Kanpur and Agra Metro.
