Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and guardian minister Ajit Pawar reviewed the Hinjewadi-Shivajinagar Metro project and stressed on speeding up land acquisition for the work, PMRDA commissioner Suhas Diwase said yesterday (Friday, 7th August 2020).
Diwase said 75% land acquisition has been completed for the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority’s (PMRDA) third Metro line. As per the senior officials, while the state agencies have provided land for the project, talks were on with the central government agencies for the purpose.
“The entire work will be taken up soon. All work related to the demolition of the University and E-square flyovers will be done within the August 10-11 deadline and work related to the Metro will be simultaneously taken up,” Diwase said.
